All new firmware versions for our RFID readers undergo extensive quality assurance with automated end tests. However, we don’t want this to remain a mere assertion. That’s why you’re welcome to take a look behind the scenes – at the BALTECH test robot. With this in-house development, we test each new firmware version on all our hardware platforms and with each supported card system. This high degree of automation also allows us to do what is known as regression testing for each release: This means that we always retest the already existing functionality to ensure that no new bugs are introduced by changes or new features.
